Alvaro and Taraporn
We reached Koh Tao finally after an hour of ferry ride. We sought for the arranged transport but ended up taking our own taxi to Alvaro Dive. The resort that we stayed was quite near the dive company. We walked the platform to a separated beach, not much of a sight, but was rustic in look and pretty laid back.
We checked in to our ‘resort’ Taraporn resort. It looked exactly like to website on the outside, but when we got into our room, it was less basic and simple. The room was clean, but the toilet had no flush and you had to flush with a bucket. I had no problem with the room, except that the bathroom flooded when we showered. We requested for the fan room as we thought that the rooms by the sea would be breezy. To our dismay, it was hot as hell at night and the fan was barely working. Luckily for us, the price that we paid were cheap and Sophia and me settled in for our kampong experience.
